About the conference

It is our great privilege to bring to you the annual Devoted Hearts Conference on May 2-3, 2025. Every year, God faithfully orchestrates all the details of this conference, and draws each of you here. As always, it is our commitment to bring to you a quality conference full of practical Bible teaching and powerful worship.

Our 2025 Conference Theme: "Deeply Rooted"

Life hands us many different situations, whether in our family, at work, with friends, or just everyday life circumstances. How are we to remain steady through life situations that seem so chaotic and unstable? In Colossians, the Apostle Paul seeks to root his readers deeply in the truth about who Christ is and how that affects the way they live their lives. As we unpack his encouragement to the Colossians, women will be equipped and empowered to remain rooted throughout every season of life they encounter.

Our speakers this year are Allison Allen, Laura Story, and Elizabeth Woodson. Allison is a seasoned communicator with a passion for authenticity and a commitment to Biblical truth. In addition to speaking. Allison will entertain and engage us through thought-provoking drama. Many know Laura as a Dove Award winning singer-songwriter. While she is that, she is also an accomplished speaker with many life lessons to share with us. Elizabeth is passionate about equipping women to understand and grow their Christian faith. She loves helping people internalize their faith and connect it practically to everyday life. Our worship time will be led by Dan Mansfield and Cherie Bland, both gifted musicians. They will help us focus our hearts and minds on Christ Jesus.

Having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

— Colossians 2:7 (NASB)

About Devoted Hearts

Who We Are

Devoted Hearts is the joint effort of women from several Rochester area churches. For over fifteen years, we have worked together to bring you these conferences. We believe in the unity of believers. We pray that this conference is an example of our common desire to see Christ exalted and His church growing.

Vision/Purpose

To evangelize to those who do not know Jesus as their Savior; to encourage women who are already saved to keep on "fighting the good fight" and to equip all women to open God's Word for their source of truth and wisdom in daily living.

What we believe

Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to Earth.

Salvation: We believe all are sinners, and therefore under condemnation. We believe in salvation by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ through repentance and personal conversion.

The Trinity: We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Word of God: We believe in the authority of scripture and that the Bible is the Word of God, without error and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Christian Conduct: We believe that all Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others, and that their conduct should be blameless before the world.

The Last Things: We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal happiness of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked.

The Church: We believe in the universal church and that the local church has the primary task of giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
