About the Conference

It is our great privilege to bring to you the fourteenth annual Devoted Hearts Conference on April 24-25, 2020. Every year, God faithfully orchestrates all the details of this conference, and draws each of you here. As always, it is our commitment to bring to you a quality conference full of practical Bible teaching and powerful worship.

Our 2020 Conference Theme: "Forgiven and Free"

Our faith in Christ is critical to our eternal salvation. Additionally, our faith is critical to living on mission for Jesus today. Since faith is so important, we need to make every effort to guard it and grow it. So what are the things in life that endanger our faith and prevent us from living the life God intends for us? There are many; unforgiveness, busyness, fear, anxiety, worry, and even something as seemingly innocent as technology and social media, to name a few.

Over the past few years, Lysa Terkeurst has personally wrestled through God's command and invitation to forgive. She has spent over 1,000 hours studying and understanding this topic of forgiveness. Our weekend together will be a profound time of studying God's Word together as we learn to apply forgiveness in our own lives.

The enemy has other powerful tools to try and hold us back from the life we are created to live. Have you ever felt crazy busy? Do you struggle with fear, anxiety, and worry? Alli Worthington will share why a life of unnecessary busyness or fear is so dangerous to our faith and what we can learn from Jesus's example of how to live life on mission.

Many of us struggle with being overly dependent on our devices. We mindlessly scroll on social media, or stare at screens instead of the people around us. The average child spends more than 7 hours a day looking at screens. How are these habits impacting not only your social, physical and spiritual life, but also the lives of the children near and dear to you? Arlene Pellicane will help us examine this spiritual danger and give us skills on how we can be set free from overdependency on technology.

Joining Lysa, Alli, and Arlene will be Katy Dahl. Katy loves communicating the gospel through music. Throughout the weekend, she will lead us in worship to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son who sets you free from all these faith dangers.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" - John 8:36
