About the Conference
It is our great privilege to bring to you the thirteenth annual Devoted Hearts Conference on April 26-27, 2019. We are amazed how God orchestrates all the details of this conference every year, and how He draws each of you here. As always, it is our commitment to bring to you a quality conference full of practical Bible teaching and powerful worship.
Our 2019 Conference Theme: "Broken and Beautiful"
Devoted Hearts is pleased to welcome to this year's conference guest speakers Sheila Walsh and Jennifer Rothschild, musical artist Jonny Diaz, and dramatist Jeremiah Gamble, from Theater for the Thirsty.
We've all had times in life where we wish we could start over again. Life is not what we imagined it would be, for a number of different reasons. The decisions we have made, or those others have made, leave us stuck, sad, shamed, scared and searching. How do we overcome these struggles? How do we walk with God through these seasons of life?
Throughout the weekend, Sheila Walsh will help us see how to overcome struggles and pain by changing the way we think about God, ourselves, and our every day lives. She will also share practical, daily strategies that will help women move forward one step at a time, knowing God will never let them down. Jennifer Rothschild will share with us Biblical insights on finding strength and trusting God, even when life is hard. And, she'll give us the practical tools we need to tap into joy and turn those hard things into good things that help us grow. You may know Jonny Diaz best for his song "Breathe". His lyrics express important truths: remembering God's presence in good times and bad, finding beauty in our everyday lives, and rejecting worldly lies about our identities. Finally, we welcome back to Devoted Hearts Jeremiah Gamble from "Theater for the Thirsty". Jeremiah will be performing a one man play about the life of Jesus, the "friend of sinners." You will meet memorable men and women from the Bible, and learn who Jesus was to them. It is our prayer that through each of these messages, you will see more of the God who knows you fully and calls you Beloved.

What we believe
Vision/Purpose: To evangelize to those who do not know Jesus as their Savior; to encourage women who are already saved to keep on "fighting the good fight" and to equip all women to open God's Word for their source of truth and wisdom in daily living.
Doctrinal Stance: Devoted Hearts is an evangelical organization. We believe in salvation by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ through personal conversion. We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons. We believe in the authority of scripture and that the Bible is the Word of God, without error and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the universal church and that the local church has the primary task of giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. We believe that all Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others, and that their conduct should be blameless before the world.
